Publisher

This site is published by Florian Mousseau, an individual, as documentation for the open-source library truecopy. It is not a commercial service and sells nothing. Contact: through theissue tracker.

Hosting

Static files on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). No application server runs ontruecopy.dev.

Personal data

This site sets no cookie, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party script, loads no external font and has no contact form. It therefore collects and processes no personal data, and needs no consent banner to say so.

The host writes technical logs (IP address, request, user agent) as any host does, for security and to serve the file. Nothing else is recorded and nothing is passed on.

The demo

The demo runs the library in your own browser. The file you drop is read in your tab and is never uploaded — there is no endpoint to upload it to. Open your network tab and check; that is the point of it.

Nothing is stored either: reload the page and the file is gone.

Warranty

None, as the MIT licence says in capitals. This library helps a reading say when it cannot be trusted; it does not make a reading correct, and nothing on this site is advice about the documents you feed it. Where the reading stops is written down rather than glossed over.

Accessibility

Every text and background pair on this site is measured at 4.5:1 or better, on both themes and on all three surfaces, by a check that runs in the build. If something here is unusable for you, an issue on the tracker is the fastest way to have it fixed.
